Have you heard about the Bucky’s on Parade? If you’re interested in touring around Madison with great friends to find the majority of the 85 Bucky Statues placed around Madison, join Carrie Waters Schmidt for some or all of the following Friday mornings starting the first week of July. The walks will start at 8:15am and are sure to stay within an hour in length. Please message Carrie at Carrie.Schmidt@LFG.com if you plan to attend one of the walks so she can make sure she won’t start without you!
Week 1 Friday July 6th at 8:15am
UW Hospital and Clinics area
Hit Bucky #s 48, 49, 50, and 52. Starts at the Vet School and goes to UW Band practice field, lakeshore, and UW Hospital and Clinics
Week 2 Friday July 13th at 8:15am
Campus
Hit Bucky #s 34, 41, 42, 45, 46, and 47. Starts at University Bookstore on the corner of Lake St. and State St., goes to Bascom Hall and out to Henry Mall.
Week 3 Friday July 20th at 8:15am
Kohl Center area
Hit Bucky #s 37, 38, and 39. Starts at Francis St/Johnson parking garage and goes over to Kohl Center and Park st.
Week 4 Friday July 27th at 8:15am
State Street
Hit Bucky #s 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 33. Starts at corner of Lake Street and State St and goes up towards the capital.
Week 5 Friday August 3rd at 8:15am
Monona Terrace area
Hit Bucky #s 1, 2, 5, 6, 10, 11, 13, 14, and 15. Starts at Monona Terrace and goes up MLK Blvd to the Square.
Week 6 Friday August 10th at 8:15am
North and East Capitol Area
Hit Bucky #s 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20. Starts at the corner of East Wash and Webster St. and travels up East Wash towards the Capitol, through the Capitol and out to Mifflin/Wisconsin Ave. area.
Week 7 Friday August 17th at 8:15am
Memorial Union/Lakeshore area
Hit Bucky #s 43, 44, 55, and 24. Starting Memorial Union walk along Lakeshore towards Alumni Park and down to the end of Langdon.
Week 8 Friday August 24th at 8:15am
Camp Randall Stadium area
Hit Bucky #s 35, 36, and 54. Starts at Union South and goes down Monroe St towards Camp Randall Stadium.
