The Business Forum 2012-2013 Scholarship Program

To award our scholarships, the TBF Community Investment Committee members review each application. Recipients are then voted on by the committee members after meeting with them in a final interview process. This is a rewarding experience to the recipients as well as the committee members. Lastly, the recipients are invited to the May luncheon where they are awarded their scholarships. These women often share some of their stories with the TBF members at this luncheon. This is a real treat to all of the members who put forth a good amount of time and effort raising scholarship funds.
TBF formed The Business Forum Foundation, Inc. to address tax-related concerns in developing a scholarship program and worked with the Madison Community Foundation to structure an endowment fund to provide ongoing giving.
The TBF Foundation distributes scholarships from two distinct funds managed by the Madison Community Foundation. General fundraising and donations strengthen our primary fund and monies also may be specifically directed to the Judy Rose Scholarship fund.
